General and cognitive psychology

Prof. Dr. Tilo Strobach has been involved in research and teaching at MSH Medical School Hamburg since 2015 in the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in Psychology. His main areas of focus are in General Psychology and Cognitive Psychology. His research interests include the following topics:
  • Multitasking
  • Cognitive Training
  • Cognitive Plasticity
  • Cognitive Aging
  • Attention
  • Perception
As a professor of General Psychology, his research primarily focuses on fundamental cognitive processes. In cooperation with companies, one goal is to transfer this fundamental perspective into applied settings. This can be done through lectures, consulting, expert discussions, and advisory services. The transfer is especially suitable for the following topics:
  • Multitasking in the workplace
  • Consideration of human attention, perception, and memory in product design
