Prof. Dr. Eidens is a professor of Brand Design at the is Professor of Brand Design at the Brand University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg. This young university has an international team of experienced professors, lecturers, experts and practitioners who teach students how to design, communicate, stage and manage brands.
Prof. Eidens’s focus is on corporate design. This includes classic development processes for visual appearances, as well as research into new approaches to dynamic design systems. Thanks to his many years of experience working in agencies, Prof. Eidens is passionate about collaborating with companies.
The design professor has already carried out various collaborative projects with companies of different sizes, involving students from the Brand Design course.
- Development of a communication concept for an international food company
- Development of high-premium packaging, including a touchscreen, for climbing equipment in collaboration with a design agency
- Development of a communication strategy and implementation of specific design directions to strengthen the umbrella brand for a start-up in the beverage sector.
- Development of a digital communication strategy and implementation of various design developments for a manufacturer of high-quality accessories.
- Development of a brand design (logo, packaging, etc.) for a high-quality herbal liqueur.
The formats of collaboration can be designed in different ways:
- (Interdisciplinary) practical projects for students during the semester

- Awarding of contracts to the chair
- Workshops
