After several years working in international trade, finance and corporate strategy, and more than a decade as a member of the executive board of the International School of Management (ISM), where she was responsible for campus strategy and corporate relations, Professor Cordelia Friesendorf is now a member of the executive board and professor of international business administration at SRH University of Applied Sciences Campus Hamburg.
The economist and financial scientist teaches corporate governance, digital strategies, strategic agility and contracting. Her research focuses on ESG/sustainability, innovation management and the financing of globally active companies. Thanks to her many years of international practical experience, Professor Friesendorf is very interested in collaborating with companies.
Possible forms of collaboration include addressing business issues in student consulting projects or final theses.
Both the consulting projects – which are carried out by a group of five to nine students – and the theses are closely supervised by Professor Friesendorf.
The range of topics is wide. For example, they cover:
- the strategic realignment of a company
- the development and measurement of sustainability indicators in accordance with EU taxonomy
- the design of change management and agile working strategies
- strategies for placing German products in international markets
- market and competition analyses
- entry strategies for international markets
In addition, numerous other issues are conceivable.
